You can support the work of ZLF in several ways; contact us if you are interested in any of the following:

• Donate in support of the activities of the Zoomkids Clubs, which will go a long way to inculcate good sanitary habits into children and youth.
• Volunteer to establish a Zoomkids Clubs in a school, community or support existing Clubs with your knowledge on environmental sanitation.
• Make a donation to any of the thematic area of the Foundation.
• Make a donation/pledge towards the Endowment fund.
• Collaborate or partner with us to achieve a common purpose

Zoomkids Projects

The Foundation’s first focal area is to provide support for the activities of the Zoomkids Clubs. The Zoomkids Club is the flagship project of Zoomlion Foundation. It is made up of environmental sanitation Clubs operating in schools across the country.

Health Care Support

We focus on supporting individuals with very serious sickness and diseases. In addition, ZLF will identify, partner and support under resourced public hospitals or community clinics, prisons, disability related organisations, orphanages, religious institutions etc.

Educational Support

ZLF will provide grants towards payment of school fees for brilliant but needy students in Senior High Schools and Tertiary Institutions. Additionally, school teachers who double as Zoomkids Club Patrons may obtain scholarship assistance to pursue a postgraduate degree course at our African Institute of Sanitation and Waste Management (AISWAM-KNUST).

Environmental Sanitation Management

Support for water, sanitation and hygiene The Foundation will support basic infrastructure development related to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) activities/projects using simple innovative technologies. These projects will be done especially in communities where Zoomkids Club activities are vibrant.

Zoomlion Foundation accepts requests throughout the year. Interested individuals or organizations should send an e-mail or letter of not more than a thousand words stating the main purpose of request.

Zoomlion Foundation will send application guidelines to the applicant if the request meets its criteria for support. Applicants must note that even though ZLF would have wished to provide support for all, due to its limited resources, not every request would be honoured.

Zoom Ambassadors Clubs are formed in Senior High Schools as an extension of the Basic Schools Zoomkids Club Programme. The rationale behind this is to raise awareness about environmental sanitation and hygiene in Senior High Schools and surrounding communities, and also to train students to become powerful agents of behavioral change for a clean environment.

Here, Club members, called Zoom Ambassadors, shall actively be involved as advocates and agents of behaviour change for hygiene and sanitation practices in the schools, homes and communities. The ultimate aim is to raise the level of awareness and standard of environmental hygiene in the schools and nearby communities to appreciable levels.

Students are naturally inquisitive and eager to learn new things, and shall be encouraged to actively participate in open discussions about environmental sanitation and hygiene and, wherever possible, to share their experiences and ideas with their peers and family members. These Zoom Ambassadors can be powerful advocates for behavior change among their peers, family members and the wider community.
