Mrs. Sarah Kyei - National Coordinator, Zoomlion Foundation
She is currently the National Coordinator of the Zoomlion Foundation. She has fifteen (15) years of experience in programme management, policy advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building of programme staff and partners, donor reporting, grants management and community development program.
Before she assumed this role, she was the Regional Program Manager at Right To Play International where she managed a funding portfolio of 16 million dollars in five African countries including Liberia, Benin, Rwanda, Mali and Ghana. In addition she spearheaded the Strategic Interventions for Gender Initiative Fund whilst working with The Canadian International Development Agency and was the Program Officer (Anglophone Africa) at The African Women’s Development for six years. Her role was to manage the life skills development program with funding from Canadian International Development Agency.
Sarah has cross cutting experiences in gender and development, child rights and child protection education, life skills development of children and youth, water and sanitation, food security and agriculture, reproductive health and HIV/AIDS.
She earned a Master’s degree in Social Science in Public and Community Service from the University of East London, United Kingdom. Mrs. Kyei is a Fulbright Scholar with a Leadership certificate under the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program, from School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota, United States of America. She is the Board Chair of Golden Baobab and board member of African Women’s Initiative.
